As a peer-reviewed journal, we aim to advance scientific knowledge and understanding. We adhere to the guidelines and ethical standards from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the recommendations of ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) regarding all aspects of publication ethics and cases of research and publication misconduct to ensure that all publications represent accurate and original work and that our peer review process is structured without bias. We have outlined ethical principles that all authors, reviewers, and editors must follow.
All manuscripts submitted to our journals are pre-evaluated in terms of their relevance to the journal's scope, language, compliance with writing instructions, suitability for science, and originality by taking into account the current legal requirements regarding copyright infringement and plagiarism. Manuscripts that do not meet the author's instructions may be rejected without peer review.
Editors and referees who are expert researchers in their fields assess scientific manuscripts submitted to our journals. The evaluation process follows a blind peer review policy. If they see necessary, the Editor-in-Chief may assign an Editor for the manuscript or conduct the scientific assessment of the manuscript themselves. Editors may also assign referees to scientific evaluation of the manuscript and make their decisions based on reports by the referees. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding the publishing of the manuscript.
Submissions for publication undergo review by the Editor-in-Chief in line with the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Articles are welcome for publication under the condition that they have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors must confirm that neither the manuscript nor its primary contents have been previously published or submitted for publication in another journal.
