Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to ESTUSCIENCE-SE are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process to ensure scientific rigor, originality, and high academic quality.

Each submission first undergoes an initial editorial assessment by the Editorial Office to verify compliance with the journal’s aims and scope, formatting guidelines, and ethical standards. Manuscripts that meet these criteria are subsequently assigned to at least two independent reviewers with recognized expertise in the relevant field.

Based on the reviewers’ evaluations and recommendations, the Editorial Board makes the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript.

To ensure transparency, objectivity, and fairness throughout the review process:

  • The identities of both authors and reviewers remain strictly confidential.
  • Any potential conflicts of interest are carefully identified and avoided.
  • Authors receive detailed and constructive feedback and are provided with the opportunity to revise their manuscripts when revisions are required.

ESTUSCIENCE-SE publishes both original research articles and special issue papers. All submissions are subject to the same rigorous peer review standards. Accepted manuscripts are published in the next available issue of the journal, depending on editorial and production schedules.

This structured and impartial evaluation process ensures that all articles published in ESTUSCIENCE-SE comply with international academic and ethical standards.
